A workshop in place-based policy design and the disciplined use of AI, treating place-based literacy as core statecraft for anyone working in or with central government — not a specialist skill for local government alone. Delegates learn to navigate a fast-moving devolution landscape without the course going stale within the month.

What It Covers

• Diagnosing the right problem at the right scale — gaps that have narrowed versus those still entrenched or worsening
• Navigating the governance architecture: strategic authorities, neighbourhood governance, and the newest devolved layers
• Knowing where AI genuinely helps (evidence and analysis) and where a human must stay in the loop (political mandate, lived experience, frontline judgement)
• Using Knowledge, Technology and Data as a durable grammar for dividing delivery work across AI agents
• Holding equity at the centre — designing against a "devolution periphery" risk
